After I left my debi downer post, I thought this might cheer you up...

Another Day

I know I should probably post about the ice storm, or new pictures of baby Jett, or all the broken trees but I can't. I can't think about anything but what has happened in our lives. I'm trying to be strong for Bonnie because I don't want her to see me upset. That's the last thing she needs but I got a few hours alone today in my house and this is all I can think about. I can't believe this has happened to my wonderful sister. I pray for strength for her and Thomas' family but I need it also. I also am also praying for forgiveness. I can't help but be upset with God and his plan right now. I know what everyone keeps saying about how we don't understand His plan and I've even said it myself because it helps me. But I do not like His plan and how it hurts so bad to look at Bonnie and Caroline. She is trying to be so strong and I don't think she should have to right now. All she worries about is the Thank You notes she hasn't written, or the Facebook messages she hasn't answered, or the calls and dishes she hasn't returned. That is Bonnie. She always worries about everyone else. I do not know how to help her right now. Everyone says it just takes time, but I don't want it to. I want her to feel better right now. So, do I try to be strong and continue like it isn't killing me inside or do I let it out? I don't really know the proper way to grieve I guess. Please continue to pray. One month is not enough time to feel better. I love you all that have been there for her and her precious family! Thank you for everything.

I miss Thomas. I miss his smart remarks he always had to make towards me because he was just like a real brother to me. Bonnie knew him in band and when he started coming around, I noticed a change in her. She started listening to "cool" music and would play the Smashing Pumpkins in her green camaro when she would take me to school. He started hanging out a lot at the house and I knew Bonnie was head over heels from the way she acted when he came over. I have had Thomas as a brother for 13 years now and I am so blessed to have known this character. He took me to a Smashing Pumpkins concert my senior year and I had the time of my life. He trusted me to cut his hair when he was in college into a spike haircut which I don't know anyone else that would ever let me try to cut their hair. He (and his sweet family) took me on such an amazing skiing trip to Keystone, I don't think I could ever go back because it wouldn't compare. We stayed a few feet from the slopes in a beautiful condo in the middle of the village. My sister has never loved anyone the way she loves Thomas. Seeing her walk down the aisle to him was so sweet and happy. He always took the best care of her and wanted nothing but the BEST for his family. Thomas did not settle for nothing but the best. That's why he married Bonnie. He pursued her until she couldn't say no and we are all so happy God had that plan for them. Every picture of Thomas with his sweet girl, Caroline, you can see his happiness and love for her in his eyes. He just knew she was going to be successful in life. He will get the chance to see her become something amazing. He will also get to see his beautiful baby grow and enter this world. I know he will be there every step of the way with Bonnie as they grow and live this short life until we will all be together with him in Heaven. Right now, Thomas is at the beach, playing the guitar while a science fiction book is next to him, as happy and perfect as he can be. Oh I can't wait to go to Heaven and join him. But for now, I will sing praise to God for all the friends and family He has blessed us with that eases this pain just a little in order to live for Him so we can all be there with Thomas soon. Thank you all for your prayers, food, cards, donations, hugs, texts, visits, and love. God is so proud of His people for taking such good care of my family.
