Sadie is 9 months! Holy cow!
As soon as summer started, she decided not to sleep anymore and to start crawling! I'm so very thankful she chose to not sleep when I am out of school. That is a huge THANK YOU to the big man!
She has also started getting mad and screams. She sounds just like a pterodactyl. Well, the ones we've heard on T.V. shows. It's super loud and annoying but she's so cute, it's OK. But not in restaurants. She is now getting Jett's toys and he is getting annoyed and it's really funny. He still loves her and doesn't show any negative feelings but I can tell when she messes with his toys, she's annoying him.

Jett is so fun. He loves to goof off and I wonder where he gets this. He is still OBSESSED with green and doesn't even like some of the flavors of candy that are green but gets them anyway.

Sadie is saying "da da, buh, and the puh sound". She is waving too. I'm working hard for mama!

Travis is so busy, I rarely see him unless I go in the garage. He's flipping 4-wheelers and mowers left and right, mows 21 lawns, and is starting to restore an old broco. Which I am actually super excited about!

I'm LOVING summer and being home. I get to see all the fun and crazy things the kids do and am cleaning up after them for some reason. It's pretty useless.
Praise God for all the blessings. He is awesome!

 Tacky sweater day at school.

This was the outfit he picked out for the day.

 First day in Bible class!

 Yes, green.

5 Months

She's five months and I cannot believe it! I've told so many people how I never knew you could actually enjoy a newborn. We adored Jett as a newborn but he was difficult. This sweetheart is so sweet it's bad because it's very hard to ever let her cry. She smiles all the time. If she is not smiling you know she's sleepy or hungry. I'm so in love with these two, it brings out a whole new list of insecurities and I am constantly reminded I am not in control, which is so good because I don't know what I'm doing 90 % of the time. She is so chunky! Jett was too and I have to be careful not to squeeze too hard! I love baby rolls so much!! We call her fingers sausages and when she's hungry she brings up both hands to her chin and moves them back and forth just like Chris Farley in Tommy Boy. So, we say, 'Tommy want wingy" when she's hungry which was Bonnie's idea. Too funny.

She grunts a lot. Her laugh sounds like a machine gun of grunting and it's adorable. Right after she was born she had hiccups 90% of the time. She has grown out of that, which I'm glad, but it was cute.

She had to be a newborn during one of the worst flu seasons in so long so now I have developed an OCD involving germs. God is good and has kept us healthy. Jett is getting over croup which is awful but is feeling better now thankfully.

Sadie is obsessed with Jett. She watches everything he does. If he even glances her way, she chuckles out loud! It takes me all day to get a laugh like that but he can so easily get one, it's not fair. And he's so over her so he rarely tries t o make her laugh. He loves her and I can tell, but he's not as excited as he was when she came home the first time. When she came home, we would catch him in her room just looking at her. He would stare at the monitor at her. He would bring her toys and get her paci and when I would be busy while she was crying, he would put in her paci and say, "It's OK Sadie." That has passed but I am thankful I had it. I pray when they are older they will both love each other so much they will want to be together all the time. I will pray hard. :)
